it works: |
| You can enter telephone numbers
- local or long distance - into your Speed Calling
list. You can reach those people by dialing
the code and one digit. |
| To
program your Speed Calling list: |
| 1 |

Lift the handset and listen for
the dial tone. |

(rotary phone, dial 1174). |

Listen for the dial tone. |
| 4 |

Dial a one-digit speed code
number. (Choose any number, 2 through 9, for
Speed Calling 8) |
| 5 |

Dial the telephone number you
wish to assign to that speed code. (For long
distance calls, include 1 plus the
area code.) |
| 6 |

Press the # key. (On a rotary
phone, wait four seconds after dialing.) |
| 7 |

Listen for the confirmation
tone. |
| To
call someone on your Speed Calling list: |
| 1 |

Lift the handset and listen

Dial the speed code, then press
