The Port & Harbors Advisory board meets the
second Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. in the Harbormaster
Building, 2933 Tongass Avenue. The purpose of this
board is advising the City Council on the operation,
maintenance and improvement of the City Port facilities
and small boat harbor and such additional matters
as the Council may from time to time designate.
The advisory board consists of nine voting members
appointed by the Mayor. One member shall be a Ketchikan
City Councilmember. Members are appointed for a
term of three years, or until a successor is appointed.
