Mission:
The mission of the Information Technology Department is
to provide efficient and timely data processing
services to all departments of General City Government
and Ketchikan Public Utilities. The Department is
committed to matching advances in technology with
the needs of other City departments and analyzing benefits
and costs to ensure that the new technology is cost
effective. These services include collecting, processing
and distributing data via the City's central computer;
supporting personal computers and wide area networks;
programming, evaluating and designing systems; and
maintaining the integrity of the Department's hardware
and the data flowing through it's information systems.
