The City of Ketchikan has a closed application
process. This means that we will not accept applications
for positions until the position is open. All positions
are posted in house for current employees to bid
on, no applications are taken at that time from
outside, temporary or part time employees working
less than 19 hours. Positions are listed with Job
Service and advertised locally as well as anywhere
deemed appropriate by the Human Resource Manager.
You can call the Human Resource office to find out
what is currently open or watch the local paper.
An application can be downloaded from this site;
it must be printed off and signed in order to be
considered.
