The City Attorney provides certain legal services
to the City Council, Ketchikan Public Utilities,
and General Government Departments; provides legal
representation to General Government and Ketchikan
Public Utilities on matters where legal representation
is not otherwise provided; drafts contracts, ordinances,
and other legal documents for the General Government
and Ketchikan Public Utilities; and interprets,
applies, and prosecutes the ordinances and policies
of the General Government and Ketchikan Public Utilities.
This office does not provide legal services or advice
to private individuals.
